Baxter is a 19" dense white mohair teddy bear, who was made in 1999 during the time I did craft shows as "Char's Bears." He has been in storage in a Rubbermaid tote in the bottom of my closet, but I wanted to bring him out again to show with the other items listed on Etsy, in the hopes of giving him a better home than my closet.
The mohair is a dense curly white Schulte mohair from Edinburgh Imports. He is fully jointed using hardwood discs, washers, nuts and bolts for the neck, arms and legs to give him the movable joints. He is stuffed with Polyfil filling, has glass eyes, secured tightly with heavy duty waxed thread to ensure they don't come loose. He has ultrasuede paw pads and a signed/dated tag on his behind indicating he was created in 1998 by me.
He has a black bowtie on, which can be removed. He is the perfect size to carry around (if you're so inclined) and can make you smile.
He'd make a super gift, and deserves to have a life where he is loved the way he was intended.
